Einsatzgruppen killing squads proceeded town by town. In just the last eleven days of October, 1941, 13,000 were murdered as follows:
- Lachowicze on 10/20/41: 2,000 people
- Lida on 10/28/41: 2,000 people
- Nesvizh on 10/30/41: 5,000 people
- Kleck on 10/31/41: 4,000 people
The memorial anniversary of Nesvizh’s Jews is observed in Israel by Nesvizh survivors and their descendants. I recite the Kaddish memorial prayer for my family annually.
